I’ve gotten so many comments and compliments on my brush!It’s super pretty! The bristles are indeed real kolinsky. This brush performs exactly as my higher end $55 brush that I now know was just a scam lol. This brush hold together very well and even when I’m in a hurry and clean it in pure acetone, it bounced back nicely (with hardly any dryness) after adding oil and monomer. I let it sit for a little while like ten mins then clean it off in monomer, and no joke, it’s ready to party all over again!Excellent brush!!!!This is a nice quality nail brush. It has a great weight that makes it comfortable to use and easy to control, the hair bristles are soft, but hold together nicely when the brush is wet, and the cap fits snuggly on the brush. And of course, the faux crystals in the handle are just pretty. I ordered a #8...the brush I received is quite large - at least a 10, if not a 12. Also, the cap is a little small for the brush...if I’m not super careful I catch the brush hairs and they get bent out of shape. Overall, nice brush, but a little large for my nail art needs.I'm definitely not a nail pro, and I don't even do acrylic, but I'm always looking for brushes and tools to use on my nails at home. I generally do gel polish and sometimes add gemstones or other accessories. I've used this brush to apply rhinestone glue and it worked great! It washed up well and I love it's shiny design.This brush is so wonderful and a delight to use when painting my nails. The bristles are so soft and make my brush easy to control. The bristles will probably be stiff when your brush arrives due to a sizing the manufacturer puts on them to retain their shape during shipping. You'll need to wash the brush prior to using to remove the sizing. Wash the bristles;es with a mild soap or artist's brush soap then let air dry flat. You can clean your brush the same way after you are finished using it. It's a truly fantastic brush for nail art.Kolinsky Nail Brush, Acrylic Nail Painting Brush OvalI love the way this brush looks - it is nicely detailed with a well-balanced handle since it is made from a very pretty plastic crystal and isn't heavy. It works really well to apply gel or acrylic products. The brush also feels like it is larger than other size 10 brushes I have used and it works really well once it is broken in. I really like this brush.Also, you need to be very careful about cleaning this after each use and letting it dry facing down. Chemicals can run down the shaft and cause the glue holding the fibers together to fail quickly. Once the brush is removed from the plastic cylinder holding the fibers in place, you can use the top to cap the brush. Just be sure to dampen the brush and reshape it to fit inside the cap. It works well and after breaking this in, I really like this brush.Kolinsky nail brushes are not cheap but they are the best.
