The tools are great for making designs on nails!These are a great value. I use them for watercoloring and nail art.I ordered these brushes to practice drawing nail art on acrylic nails! The brushes come hard, you have to soak them to make them soft; but overall this product isn't bad. It comes with plenty of sizes to get a lot of practice in, and they are easy to hold!Absolutely no complaints! Good brushes. I use them a lot. However, the brushes that come with this set don't have any weight on them and just feel too light in my hands. They are made of plastic and while they work okay, the plastic just feels insubstantial. Also, the plastic used for the brush handles aren't resistant to acetone. I had the brushes on the table where I do nails and accidently spilled some acetone on the handle end of one of the brushes. The shiny finish turned matte as the acetone dissolve the plastic on the end of the brush. The bristles are fairly decent though and I haven't had any loose hairs or anything come out of the brushes.As for the dual tipped brushes, I liked those a bit better. While the brushes felt cheap and too light in my hands, the dual tipped brushes have a little bit more weight and feel more substantial.Overall you get a good variety and size of brushes. It is an inexpensive set of brushes that won't break the bank and won't leave you hurting if you break/loose one. However, the brushes are just too light in my hands that I'll probably look for another set of brushes that feel more substantial.When I opened my pack of brushes the first thing I noticed it how beautiful they are. Each of the handles is glittery and shiny. I loved them before I even used them.For practical purposes, they are great also. However, these are my first nail brushes to I don’t have any other to compare them to. As a beginner, my first foray was into making polka dots. The brushes make that super easy. There are 7 different sizes and so you can make all of the dots the same or use lots of different sizes. This aspect alone makes doing my nails more creative.The actual brush part of this assortment offers many options from incredibly thin to thicker brushes. I was experimenting with the thinner ones for making lines and while it is not too difficult on paper, it is harder on the nails. That is not the brushes fault of course. So far, no bristles lost during my practice sessions.This is a great set for anyone that wants to learn more arty ways of doing their nails. Your imagination is the only limiting factor.These brushes are pretty nice, and at the current price of 9.99 US they're a steal. You get a bunch of brushes in varying thickness and length, and the detail brushes have multiple sizes of dots on the back for your flowers or other dot art type designs. (also great for placing rhinestones, too). Each brush comes with a separate bristle protector and they're again inside a plastic sleeve. The sleeve is trash - one of mine even came ripped, but that's to be expected. You're not going to store them in the shipping pouch. The brushes themselves seem well put together. Bristles stay put even when tugged. I haven't used them much, but so far no stray hairs have made it to any of my projects.The handles are really cute, too. I love the sparkles!I like these a lot. I'm glad I got them.Per my wife: This is my first nail brush set. I wanted to learn how to create artistic nails, and this looked like a good set of brushes to begin my learning experience. Just looking at these colorful, glittery nail art brushes makes me want to rush right out and do someone's nails. The first set of five brushes contains a nice assortment of larger size brushes for painting the background on a fingernail and for applying the final clear coat. The seven extremely fine tipped brushes are where the masterpieces begin. Each of the seven finely tipped brushes, all different sizes, has a different size dotting tip at its other end. I watched a few YouTube videos and got tons of fantastic ideas on how to use these to create looks that range from fun and silly to exotic and mysterious, and everything in between. The use of these brushes, combined with the kazillion different colors and types of nail polish that are out there these days, lets you bring out the hidden artist inside of you. I look forward to many happy hours using these beautiful brushes. 5 stars.
