Tubes have barely any product in them, but AIR.Base and top coat are TINY.Mini led lamp doesn't work for nothing.Brush LITERALLY fell apart.Dual forms are too curved for me. Trashed them.I went and purchased a better lamp, brush, forms and different gel. Also base and top coat.I do not recommend this kit at all. Yes, you get everything, but if you're really serious about this, you should consider something else that's better quality. Unless, you like cheap things that make your life difficult.I have been looking for some colored polygel to try for some time and came across this set which has a black which I really wanted to try. It comes with everything you need to do a cute & stylish polygel mani. I included pics of everything that comes in the kit, individual tubes/bottles for size reference, and some quick looks I did on my practice hand to test the colors out. The tubes are 15g and it comes with gray, pink, white, yellow, blue, and black. They all looked really nice on the nail. I used the holo butterfly sequins and tiny rhinestones that was in the kit as well. In comparison to other polygels I've used, these are on the soft side. That means you'll need to keep your brush moist at all times to prevent any stickiness. I used the paper forms on all nails except the ring finger which was the dual form.. The dual forms in this kit were shaped nicely, not a drastic claw curve like a lot of the ones I have. I prefer paper forms to do various shapes and the ones in this kit are good, sticky enough to stay but not so sticky they are hard to remove or leave a residue. The base coat and top coat are 7ml bottles and worked nice as well. The mini lamp is handy for getting your fingers under while holding onto a dual form for flash curing and a cute pink. Remember with any semi-opaque or opaque gel, you need to cure the underside as well as the top for it to cure completely. For beginners I recommend watching some YT videos to get started. I highly recommend this kit for some fun colors and everything you need to do your own mani!I purchased the "blue" kit. 5 stars for packaging and value. 3.5 stars for "supplying everything you need", as directions suggest using a primer and dehydrator that are not included, plus you need a container for the slip solution. 3 stars for quality of tools: brush head falls off but at least it was a dual ended brush and caps stay on, the rest of the tools are ok except for the lamp, which was a fail. The lamp in the kit was Sun brand, not the one shown in this ad nor the one shown in instructions, and it did not operate the way directions described. Worse than that, after using for 3 -45 second cycles, some of the nails were still rubbery/flexible - I wound up curing with my Gelish lamp and the product cured fine. The colors in this kit were quite nice. The features of the gels varied: some were extremely firm and not sticky at all, but a few were almost runny and quite sticky.I chose Saviland products as I had seen several unsponsored videos of beginners, advanced amateurs, and professionals testing their kits with great results, saying specifically that the gels were easy to work with and not sticky. My experience is with acrylics and hard gel - this was my first polygel. Since my biggest issue was with the lamp and the brush failing, I would probably give the brand a second chance, especially if at a good price.I’ve seen videos on social media how easy it is to do it yourself with this kind of Material. It’s a little bit complicated t first but gets easy with time. You need someone to do it for you and make sure to take the extra gel right away! You really need a larger lamp to cure properly but over all worth the moneyUpdate:I lowered the stars to 3 from my original 5. For some reason it was really difficult to dry the poly all the way through. What I thought was working well, was not. Also, when using the applicator it would make the poly too thin on my nail bed and the poly would peel right off. I stopped using this product. I had originally told my sister to get it but updated her and suggested she didn't.Original post:I purchased this for myself. I am a beginner at using this set. I have the method down and I love this. It's a tiny mini set so it actually fits in my purse. I take it with me in case a nail breaks, it takes me about 10 minutes to fix one nail. This time will be shorter once I can improve my skill. I didn't realize how mini of a set this is though. I'll have to buy more of the poly nail gel soon.I almost never leave reviews for items I purchase, but honestly this product is amazing and I would absolutely recommend it!I haven’t been able to go to the nail salon in over a year due to the current state of the world, and I’ve been desperate to get my nails done! While stick-ons do the job for awhile, they’re just not the same. I also ordered an acrylic powder kit and, to my disappointment, they were not only very difficult to do, but they didn’t last and the acrylic solution smelled AWFUL!I saw a TikTok raving about this poly gel kit, and decided to try it. Best decision ever!!! They’re so easy to apply, and honestly I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a product more cost effective EVER.The set comes with plenty of poly gel to do your nails several dozen times, nail file, gems, little shiny butterfly glitter, a brush, base coat, top coat, and even a UV light to set the gel!!! Please note that the UV light has to be plugged in for use (it doesn’t charge) and that you should definitely not expose the gel or polish to the sunlight or they begin to set!Again, could not recommend more!Took several clicks for the LED Lamp to dry the nails. So the good things about this kit. It has mostly all of the things you need to having great nail extensions. I have never tried a poly gel before but overall this kit was very user friendly and it only cost the price of a nail salon visit. If like me you are a first timer I would suggest you watch a few tutorials although the kit does come with instructions the tutorials will help. There are 6 tubes and the colours are amazing. The gel is very firm and sticky, great for nail forming horrible if you get it on your fingers. Can be removed with acetone. The dual forms are of a decent quality and reusable. I reckon up to 4 uses. They come away from cured gel fairly easy once air pocket created. I can't say if the lamp is effective as I a more powerful one which I used. As the one provided has a 60s timer I think you may need to cure for longer.I personally feel the quality of brush for application could be better. The action required to get an even finish is a pat and push and you need to ensure that the brush is just dampened with slip solution otherwise the brush splays producing an uneven finish. I will be buying a sable acrylic brush.I also think the kit would have benefitted with two nail clips minimum to hold the nail down whilst curing, otherwise you need to keep base pressed down with a finger. As clips are inexpensive I actually brought some and the proved to be invaluable. You do require a primer if you want nails to last longer again this needs to be brought separately. Finally, a nail drill. I don't have one but if you are after a professional salon finish this might be useful as the nail file provided can't effectively get to the underside of the nail and if you forget to smooth the underside before curing as I did on a couple of nails you'll end up with a ridge that can only be sanded down. However, with all that said I gave it 5 stars because they still look decent for a first ever attempt and it was so much fun. The embellishments mean you can decorate the nail further. No gem picker bit a toothpick dipped in base coat picks them up just as well. I plan to get better at this so investing in extras isn't an issue. I have 3-4 full set applications left maybe more and definitely more if used to infill due to the fact you get 6 tubes of colour so it is cost effective. There are other fuller kits available but if you are looking to try one out to see what it's like would thoroughly recommend Saviland.Only used once, last night, woke up and 2 nails came off some still wet underneath, I had scraped after they had dried out as i thought but as i pressed the nail down to try and save it gel squished out, the instructions weren't very helpful for a first timer if anyone has any tips that would be very helpful thanksI think this is a fabulous little kit. Its presentedbeautifully.Great value. I havent tried it yet but have used previously the clear Saviland polygel which is excellent.Great variety of colours, nail forms, decorations and gems( admittedly these gems aren't the best) but overall great. There have been some complaints about the lamp but to be fair its only a mini lamp and you cant expect it to work as well or as quick as a full size lamp, its just not practical.Packaging damaged, missing rhinestone base/top coat second nail file and brush. As seen in photo lamp doesn't work (have another lamp from prior purchase). I spoke to the postmaster and he said it would cost me more than what I paid for it to return it. I suppose between the two damaged sets I'll be able to make a full set. Very disappointed, it's like I received someone else's returned parcel. Would appreciate a refund but doubtful! Usually a reliable brand.
