At 70, I've lost some dexterity and strength in my fingers. But the clippers did a great job. In fact my nails have never looked so manicured. My only suggestion (as an old guy) would be to make it less "slippery". Maybe a rubber texture or a knobby finish. I may try a rubber band around it....but that's just me and my weak dexterity. However it does the job quickly and equal to the manicure shop. I was going to buy the table top model @$ 149, but realized the hand held model would be much easier to work with. I'll give it 5 stars.I am a RN and had difficulty cutting my 93 year old uncle's nails. I ordered this not knowing if it would work. He is able to use it independently after I showed him how to start at the corner of the nail and move in a semi-circular motion. His nails look great and he can do it anytime he wants. It works so well I am telling all of my patients. I highly recommend this easy to use tool. We are only able to do nails on hands, as nails are feet are too thick, but we are both still delighted!I received this and was hoping it would be easy for me to handle. I am a handicapped person with muscular dystrophy specifically spinal muscular atrophy. My fingernails grow quite quickly and this does a good job of shortening them and then I finish them off with a manual file. There is a little bit of a learning curve when using this product but once you get the hang of it is very easy. I would definitely recommend using this with the larger attachment that's designed for thick nails. The other two attachments are too small in my opinion.This product is pretty amazing. My daughter fights us when it comes to cutting her nail and this gadget gets it done quickly and efficiently.It trimmed my hand and toe nails fine and very easily.It amazing how it works on the nails without a problem. Nails are now shortened and smooth as well.I use the mid size attachment for my hand nails and the larger attachment for my toe nails.No cutting happened on my skin at all a great safe to use product.Works great. It took a little bit of time to get used it the way it works because it really filed the nail quickly. The first nail I trimmed got a little extra off, because I didn't feel it working, but it's that quick. Now my nails are exactly the length & shape I always wanted; all the time.These seemed like a great idea but it was leaving our nails feeling "funky" and rough. I guess it's back to normal clippers.They are awkward--I tried them once and packed them away
