I read several rave reviews of this nail polish (literally rave). I quit wearing nail polish because it’s so “needy.” In my experience it chips, it’s difficult to put on well, if I get it on nicely in a color I like, I can’t get it off. But with so many happy customers I thought it was worth a try. For me, it wasn’t easier to put on, it chipped within two days and the part that didn’t chip was difficult to remove. All these negatives could be chalked up as user error. That said, though, I didn’t find Londontown any better than other nail polish. And, $16 a bottle!This brand came recommended so I gave it a try. Admittedly, I just put it on so I can’t yet speak to longevity and so forth - but thought I’d mention that I found the applicator brush on the large side and found it hard to apply cleanly. Without feeling like I had much polish on the brush, I quickly flooded my pointer finger and had to get a tissue to dab around the edges - so not overly thrilled with how that left the nail looking. Might just be something to get more used to. I do really like this color however. It is very pale pink, almost the color of my nail with one coat applied, but I like to have a little shine on my nails just to make them look nice, so it provides that.The quality of the polish is better than most. Does not chip and lasts long.I got this polish just for a few dots on a nail art design, but I actually ended up loving the polish itself and wearing it on its own (with a bit of glitter!) several times. I expected a creme polish, but it was actually a jelly, which I LOVED. It's just the right opacity to be able to get full color with one coat, a really luscious look with two coats, and practically full opacity with three coats. It's a really cute color that goes with my skin tone more than I thought it would. The bottle is small unfortunately, but that's the only real downside. It's pretty self-leveling, has a nice finish, and isn't overly stinky.I love Londontown Lakur. It protects my nails very well, and I don't have the splitting or peeling nails since I began to use this at the beginning of the pandemic. This is the perfect pink color I have been waiting for. Not too bright, not too light in color. Thank you for keeping this color in your line.how can something look so pretty in the bottle but turn out so horrible on the nails?before purchasing, i read all the rotten reviews...but i just had to see for myself. and its like painting shredded coconut on your nails. i just cant believe it. never seen something like this before.I purchased the light pink polish and use it regularly. I purchased the glitter color polish and it has such an extreme chemical odor I had to remove it, even after several hours.I bought Glasgow Glow. Looked clumpy and separated in the bottle when I got it. I shook it up, but it was just a clear polish with white specks, not sparkly. The pictures really don’t offer a good representation of what this looked like.Overall, this is a cheaply made polish with a high price tag, and not returnable. Save yourself the trouble and shop at a local store for the more well-known brands.Goes on lovely, but once its dried 1) the colour in the bottle is NOT the same colour that it dries & 2) it looks like a cheap nail varnish so definitely not worth £19.00. I've brought nail varnishes from Avon for ££££'s cheaper than this and they look a lot better.Lovely colour and goes ok nicely.
