I WANTED nude, sheer colors but these colors are far lighter on me than the manufacturer's pictures. Granted, the product description warns about this and sure enough, on my olive, Asian skin, the 15-6 color (darkest pink) came out more like the 15-2 lightest pink color after 3 coats. And as other Reviewers noted, it's super annoying there's no sample swatch or clear window to indicate the color inside. Big thank you to the Reviewers who uploaded pics of their own swatches. Nevertheless, I can't say the product description is inaccurate; the one color I've tried so far seemed to go on smoothly; did not dry tacky for me as some noted (although I often cure for more time than recommended even with light colors); and this set is a great value. Can't speak to the chipping factor since I tried my first color last night or to how much it shines since I always use top coat. Sheer nudes are all the rage right now; I love the subtle, sophisticated color(s); my nails have a healthy, pink glow; and especially for someone like me whose nails grow really fast, grow out won't be obvious. Recommend but just remember that with really transparent colors like these, your skin tone impacts the end result in a way it wouldn't with darker, opaque colors.Ideally, it is best to apply these over top of an opaque shade underneath (for example, I'd advise applying the pink glitter over a pink base so that you can get opacity with fewer coats). This isn't atypical for glitter polishes, so I'm not mad about that. What I do feel a little weird about is the consistency. It's got the typical gel polish consistency, but I notice it almost has a jelly-like consistency as well. It will clump together during application at times, but it is so minor you probably won't even notice. The glittery black looks exactly as advertised, and is mostly opaque in 3 coats. I'm not sure if I have a bad batch for the pink, but my pink is much less opaque than photos that other reviewers have posted. Overall, these are beautiful polishes. They are smaller bottles, but if you're applying a base color you won't need to use much of them. I think that it's worth the price if you will use most or all of the shades, but if you've only got your heart set on one or two of them I wouldn't purchase the entire set.I have only used the silver but it worked good , only needed 2 coats and dried fast (60 sec)As far as glitter gel polishes go, these aren't overly thick. I think the consistency of the set I received is just fine. I did apply three coats which give the purple, pink, black & red good coverage. The silver & gold probably could have used another coat, but they are still nice. If you don't want to put multiple coats on, they would work well for a glitter topper. The bottles are only 6ml, which is a little on the small size. There is a number on top to help with identification that works perfectly for me because I use swatch sticks for all of my colors. These are nice jelly polishes but I don’t think there is enough of a color difference between them. I used two coats of color for each test stick and the polish went on very smoothly. Possibly using a few more coats of color might darken them some but I still don’t think there will be much of a color change between them. The bottles are not marked with which color is inside. This is kind of a pet peeve of mine.I like the glitter polishes. They went on smooth and easy and the glitter flecks were a good size. The colors aren't as pigmented as I was hoping though and I had to apply more than one coat to build up the pigment. Overall, I really liked them though.
