It's nice enough - makes your nails glossy, it's strong and doesn't start flaking off. So a decent buy at its price.As for its claims to "nursing" I haven't really seen the difference - the best thing to do to help nails get better would probably be to stop stressing them with extensions/chemicals/biting them and start eating healthy and taking vitamins. There's only so much a little bottle of varnish can do - it's not a magic wand!I quite liked this the first couple of time I wore it and was very happy with it, it definitely does seem to be quite good for my nails and I really do think it helps rather than harms.However a couple of days later I decided to see how "longwear" this is and it definitely needs redoing at least every 48 hours. It was chipping quite badly by the second day so this is not really a "set it and forget it" product like I hoped it would be.DO note though that I have very flexible nails so polishes do tend to chip quite fast on me. So if your nails are harder then this might have longer staying power, but for my bendy friends, this will start to chip in about 24-48 hours.I feel a bit silly that at age 43 this is the first time I've ever used a base coat. I bought a bottle of Barry M's Under the Sea and the label said apply basecoat before use. I was a bit ?? never used that before, what difference does it make? But I thought I'd try it, and the difference is world's apart. I used this as a basecoat and top coat, and I've never had my nails look like this, it has shine, depth and looks overall more of a professional finish. Add to that, after 5 days it looks no different, it's not started to chip or wear away as usually happens after two days wearing bail varnish alone. There seems more point using bail varnish if the results last longer, and look nicer. I also bough a glass nail file so my nails are looking the nicest they ever have :)Désolée je n'ai pas réussi à prendre de photo qui illustre bien le rendu... Mais WAOUH ! Superbe rendu en top coat ! Effet gel très brillant et résistant ! Je n'ai pas essayé en base mais pour le prix je vous recommande de foncer, d'autant que le temps de séchage base (marque soin durcisseur extra connue et reconnue ) +2 couches (une fine +une plus épaisse comme une manucure digne de ce nom !) +top coat Rimmel 5en 1 est extra rapide. Cela doit dépendre des vernis-au vu de certains commentaires-mais pour moi (vernis So laque Bourgeois) c'est une trouvaille géniale que je recommande les yeux fermés en finition !I was really impressed with this! I can't use gel nails for a number of reasons and was getting tired of my normal nail polish chipping off within a couple of days. This is the best top coat I've ever used. I was gardening yesterday without gloves. My nails survived me scrabbling around in the soil weeding plus a serious scrub with a nailbrush afterwards. Very impressed! I would say it does take a little while to dry (reckon about 30 minutes?) And you need strong nail polish remover- I got my nails off with normal strength but nearly fumigated my house I had to use so much. But otherwise an excellent product and very good value.
