First of all: I do not want a sparkly-clean grill;; I like my grill to be "seasoned". I bought these in hopes that it would easily removed caked on barbecue sauce, etc., for which I normally use a large bladed screwdriver. It sort of works on the surface of the grill, but does not get into the crevices -- so I still use the screw driver.My drill consists of heavy rectangular bars, about 1/2 inches deep. The brush would undoubtedly work well on a typical grill composed of round bars.While it does not meet the needs for which it was purchased, I am pleased with it for other purposes, such as removing cooked on grease from oven pans. I have also used it to get grime off my garage utility sink. They will not go to waste!
