This color is stunning and can be worn year round.It goes with absolutely everything.I LOVE the color of the nail polish (Black Thorn) in the bottle and on the website. BUT...it does not go on purple. It goes on dark blue. It's still a nice enough color, but I have a much less expensive navy blue and I bought this BECAUSE it looked like such a pretty purple color. I'm guessing on longevity as the nail tech just finished putting it on an hour ago so can't really answer that yet. If you're looking for a dark blue with maybe a hint of purple IF you move your hand just so and the light hits it just right, this is the polish for you. If you want the purple color that appears in the picture (or even in the bottle once it arrives) just move along, because this is not purple.I hemmed and hawed over this nail color for some time before actually ordering it, because it seemed almost criminal to pay so much for nail polish! In the end I decided to splurge on it, and I'm so glad I did. I've been using it on my toes (too lazy to keep my fingernails painted and I loathe chipping polish), and I can honestly say I've never received so many compliments on nail polish before in my life. The color is metallic but not overbearing, and has the loveliest shimmer.I've been very pleased with the quality of the polish, as well -- it lasts quite as long as I would expect (I've been using it with Zoya's base and top coat polishes -- I'd like to try Londontown's when I run out, though). I also love that Londontown omits many of the "nastier" nail polish ingredients. The smell, while not necessarily pleasant, doesn't seem as noxious to me as the average nail polish.Highly recommended!Black Thorn is gorgeous. There is a very minor glitter undertone that is barely visible that adds a tremendous dimension and glossy shine to the finished product. I used the KUR gel like base and top coat along with two coats of the polish. I also finished with a drop of accelerating drying drops by KUR Londontown. I like their products and have been using them for a few years.Was not consistency of my usual Lakers products and didn’t like color/spangled look & couldn’t exchange ?????????☹️?☹️??☹️☹️☹️☹️I loved this color! It was a very dark purple, kind of like a midnight color! I love the wear that I get with it, and I love the shine! I ended up ordering a second one so I wouldn't be without!Great color. Lasts long. I was introduced to this brand by my manicurist and I love it. This color is appealing. Nice shine too.The nail color flows on smoothly, dries quickly, great brush and a fine brand. When you're in the mood for a lift, this is the color to light up and show off.Wow, I bought this for my Missus on her Birthday - it's quite a bit more expensive than her usual glittery Nail polish - but she likes this type so I bought it.She applied two coats after shaking the bottle - and the final result was a super smooth beautiful silvery hue with the fine and larger glitter flecks which are very striking and beautifully exhibited in many lovely colours - reflects the light in many nice ways, and subtle too - not in your face.Different angles reveal different facets to the sheen, look and glitter.The price is well worth it, as the bottle has a nice solid expensive look to it, the varnish is high quality lacquer and two coats gives a smooth even high quality coat - and the look is luxurious, attractive and galmourous woithout being in your face.It looks black in the bottle but is actually a beautiful grey/silver hue with multi tones.She's very happy!This is primarily a Lacquer, so it can be varnished over a solid colour to give different hues and effects Magnificently - giving an extra dimension and versatility to this product with so many variations.Never going to buy cheap nail varnish again! This stuff is amazing!
