There is a little bit of a learning curve when using this, it took me about 7 tries to finally get the gel to actually STAY on. This kit contains everything you need to give yourself a great manicure with beautiful nails, you just need to bring a little patience with it. I promise it's worth the investment. Trust me when I tell you, a little gel goes a long way. There are instructions that come in the box, but I'd also suggest watching a few videos before attempting to do them, they definitely helped me figure out what I was doing wrong.I ordered this item after doing alot of research and watching alot of youtube videos about how to do them. So, I feel like I kind of knew what I was getting into. There is a learning curve, and it may take a couple nails to figure out the right consistency and the right amount of gel to use. BUT.... I have had mine on for a week now and they are very equivalent to going to a nail salon and getting gel/acrylic nails done. I am still impressed with this kit. The lamp was my only issue.... I did feel like it took way longer then the 120 seconds to cure it was maybe more like 5 min. But nothing a stronger lamp cant fix.I like the different colors of poly gel and the rhinestones and tools included! This is not as easy as it looks, it does take a good bit of practice! I noticed that some of the polygels would come out cracked and I would have to do my nail over again. I would not recommend starting this late at night, as I started at 8:30 and finally finished at 12:30! It is time consuming! Pat the underside of the nail very well you have to mash it with a bit of pressure. Overall a good kit for the money!!AMAZING! Everything came shipped neatly. Everything was individually wrapped and secure. Nothing leaked. The poly gel colors are true to what shows. Comes w/ dehydrator and primer which most nail kits don't come with. Also comes with a 2 sided buffer, a file, metal cuticle pusher, a dual side metal spatula, dual forms, and butterfly forms.The Rhinestone gel may be kinda small but its FILLED completely! The bottom of the UV lamp is detachable(magnetic) easy to disinfect/clean. Im really impressed as a nail tech this is the best kit I've purchased : )Comes with almost everything you'd need! Perfect for beginners and even comes with an instruction booklet with step by step. Every concern or complaint in the other reviews I read before purchase are addressed in said booklet too so I'm thinking a few may not have read it through before beginning (guilty sometimes too!). My only mild complaint is that a few things came leaking. Not too much, but fairly stinky! Totally worth it.The best fake nails I’ve ever had in my life. Hands down people!!!! As you can see in the pictures, i have probably one of the worst and ugliest types of nail beds…. All my nails are flat, uneven, and they go UPWARDS!!!! No stick-on fake nails have ever successfully worked for my ugly nails before without falling off as soon as I scratched my nose! And growing my own nails out are just a headache since, you see, I bite my nails LOL and my nails are weak and very thin.But these wonderful miracles arrived in a box with all the equipment I needed to have these beautiful babies! Now I can go around wearing these nails in a smirk and a confidence that I have pretty nails just like any other women (and men) on this planet earth. They are easy to put on, you just gotta be patient and follow the instructions it gives in the little booklet and you’ll soon be the owner of pretty nails just like yours truly now.I’m soooo satisfied with my purchase. Why didn’t find this sooner?Say goodbye to your nail salon. Worth every penny. I'm a little picky when it comes to my nails. So going from the best salon in my area to these is rough but the price is unbeatable. For my first time I am happy with them. I'm sure I'll get better with more practice. Hoping they hold up for the normal 2 weeks.I love this product. It comes with everything you need(besides polish but you don’t have to paint them) I’m super young and can’t afford to get my nails done constantly and this is a great solution. Super easy to use. I prefer to treat it like acrylic and put it over tips but you can use the dual form if that’s what you prefer. Love love love this product.I live in Alberta, Canada. Up here and set of gel extensions with simple art will cost anywhere from $80-130I have to say that I am beyond impressed. I thought as a beginner my first few sets would be hideous. I'm actually very happy and going to keep my very first set on! (Pictured). I used the milk poly and used my own sparkle gel for details/art. My shaping needs work.I did research and watched an hour of YouTube videos on application and that was very helpfulThe product was fairly easy to use. I practiced first just on my pinky finger. Whole set with the nail accents took me about two hours. First time doing my own poly gel nails. I really feel that the only thing missing from the kit that really should be included to make the whole process easier is the nail clips. For my next set, I’ll definitely be purchasing the nail clips to make the process smoother. Had the nail clips been included, I would have given this 5 stars. Otherwise I am super happy with how my nails turned out as a first time user, and look forward to perfecting the process a little more each time. The price of this kit is the price I would normally pay in two salon visits for acrylics. I’m excited at the money I’ll be saving now by being able to do my own nails at home.I have always paid to have my nails done. My nail lady moved away and I ordered this. LOVE IT! watched some YouTube videos before and was happy with the results. The only problem is that it has become an addiction..... I love the perfect fresh look and enjoy touching my nails up and trying new things. I have gel polish coming to put on top!!I included photos of my first and second full sets. Not shown, the fill I did in between or the removal processes! This is definitely NOT as easy and quick as it makes it out to be. Maybe for professionals? But don't purchase this expecting quick, easy nails as a non-nail tech newbie like myself because you will be VERY frustrated, LOL! My first set, pictured with the white bathroom in the background took TEN HOURS (over two days)! 100% operator error? Well YES... my fault. But when the reviews are saying its a learning curve they are NOT kidding. I watched hours of tutorials but its still learn as you go. I can't imagine if I hadn't binged all those YouTube videos. I'm not a big fan of the polyforms. They pop off my nails, I don't know if its because of my nail shape, nail beds but I found them very difficult to work with. The first set took so long because I had to file/soak off several nails and start again. Not pictured = the fill I did on the first set. This took two hours and I just freehanded the polygel. My second set, I used the thinnest possible layer of polygel to do the extension only in the form. Then I cured, filed, and freehanded the rest. Second set took 5.5/6 hours but mind you, I am taking my sweet time and have severe ADHD so I'm wandering around doing this and that. I have been happy with how each set has turned out - its super cute! My first set I did the first weekend of August and with a quick fill, they lasted the whole month. I just put on my second set and am very happy with how it turned out. I would definitely recommend this kit as it has everything you need! Just don't expect it to be easy peasy quick n easy right away. But so worth it for saving $$$!!!I never do my nails but I really wanted to give polygels a try. I was concerned about the packaging as there were numerous reviews indicating that they received incomplete kits/items leaking etc. but my kit was complete, none of the items were leaking and the UV lamp was functional. As everyone mentioned, there is a huge learning curve, I am just starting to get the hang of it after 4 attempts.A few things to note/tips: 1. I found the curve of the dual forms to be too steep for my nail beds and none of the sizes seem to fit my nails well (ended up purchasing NMKL38 forms). 2. The bristles of the nail brush began to fray after the third use and am now finding that it does not move the gel nicely. 3. Be prepared to hold your breath when using the primer, the chemical smell is extremely strong (I believe this goes for most brands, not just this one). 4. Nail prep seems to be THE KEY to lasting nails; ensure you complete every step; I have not had any nails pop off. 5. I find the TikTok hack method to be much easier and get better results. 6. Buy an electric file...there is a lot of nail shaping/filing (ended up buying one). 7. Colours are very translucent.Overall I am very happy with this kit and it has everything you need to get started. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to start trying polygels.
