These are good quality. I don’t know yet how long they last because I just did them today - but I will update that later.It came with 20 strips (10 sizes, 2 each). This was enough for me to do my fingers, toes, and my daughters fingers! For my fingers I would cut off the excess before curing, and set it aside. I used those pieces for my toenails. And I cut all the unused strips in half to use for my daughter. I still had two whole strips leftover. You absolutely can’t beat that for the price!Now really if you aren’t someone who has some experience with applying nail strips, or working with gel polish at home - you aren’t going to just throw these on and get a perfect application the first time. So it would be good to practice a few times possibly with some cheap nail stickers to help you get used to applying them to your nails.I have done lots of different nail strips on my own, I’ve used gel polish and lamps at home, and I used to be a color street rep. So I want to give some very helpful tips to get the best use out of your nail strips.First- gel isn’t going to stay very well on smooth nails. You need to rough them up a good bit. I have a personal nail drill that I use for this, but you could use a gritty file. You want to really scrape them up and get rid of the shine, so that she gel has something to bind to. Otherwise you are going to experience lifting and they’re just going to peel right off.Second - starting with a good clear base gel helps them stick better. Any brand will do, and don’t wipe off the tacky layer after you cure the base. You want that to adhere your nail strips. And I like to top them with a clear gel top coat also. The package doesn’t say you HAVE to do that, but they are a lot harder after curing a top coat - and that’s what I specifically needed because my nails are weak.Third- you do NOT want any of the strip to be in contact with your skin. If it’s touching skin, it’s not going to adhere properly. So you’re going to want to choose a strip that is a little smaller than your nail, leaving the tiniest bit of nail uncovered all around the edges. It won’t be super noticeable, I promise.The sizes of the strips were great. I do have a little showing on my big toes, because they are wider than the biggest strip. But these aren’t meant to be for pedi’s anyway. I had plenty of good sizes available for all fingers and thumbs. They do allow you to stretch them A LITTLE to cover the whole nail. Tug very very gently to either side to get a little stretch. Don’t over do it or you will tear them.The colors are brilliant. The design/print is fantastic. They weren’t super shiny after curing them, but I used a gel top coat and that gave it lots of shine!It took a good amount of time to do these. That is because I put in a lot of prep work as well as top coat; also I have a small lamp, so I had to run it through several cycles to get a full cure, and I can’t fit my whole hand in at once. So if you have a full sized/ professional lamp- you’ll be done much faster! I’ll probably invest in a bigger one soon.In conclusion, I would DEFINITELY recommend these and I will buy more designs. It takes some time, but it’s very affordable for the quality of the product and the amount you can get from one pack! If you’re on the fence about trying- just do it :)
