The setup is too shallow if used the way it’s made. The angle is too shallow and too close so there isn’t enough wood to hold the screws and create a strong joint. To get this to work and have a strong joint, you have to place a space about a half inch. The project I bought this for I drilled all the material, and upon inserting the screws the boards frequently disconnected and broke at the holes. I ended up freehanding all but one or two corners. I won’t return it but don’t recommend. Need ms modifications to make useful. I’ll create a spacer for future projects but I suggest a product with a longer spacing and increased angle so there is enough wood material to hold the screws and create a strong joint or connection. First pic of using the jig. Second is feehanding same idea.
